What We Do
Our members give their time to look after the stream in practical ways.
Citizen science
Trained volunteers carry out regular riverfly monitoring, sampling the insect life of the stream as a measure of its health.
Litter picking
We clear litter from the stream and its banks.
Invasive species management
We hold working parties to remove Himalayan balsam, an invasive plant that spreads quickly along riverbanks and crowds out native plants.
Mapping
We are mapping the course of the Bosham Stream and recording its habitats and wildlife along its length.
Working with others
We work with organisations including the Rivers Trust, the Environment Agency, water companies and local councils to get the best result for the stream.
